At its conception, the organisation provided services for just a small number of vulnerable adults, but now after more than 20 years of work and development in the social care sector, we have grown into a well-established and successful Merseyside-based social enterprise. We now provide a broad range of housing and social care services designed to meet the diverse needs of over 440 vulnerable men, women and young people across Merseyside which are delivered by our committed workforce of more than 120 members of staff.
The expansion and diversity of the services New Start provide today, has been the direct result of our commitment to reinvest any financial surplus back into the development of activities and services which directly relate to the organisations aspirations. We are also aware that New Start's long term success and stability, is strengthened by our desire to continually evolve, remodel and diversify the services we provide, so that they remain strategically relevant to commissioning bodies and continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
All the developments we have undertaken at New Start have been motivated by our socially focused
mission statement, and we are committed to ensuring these values will continue to be at the heart of our work going forward
