Kerri & her fiancé Gary fled their home following the blast and have been unable to return since. The blast caused widespread damage, including the destruction of buildings. A total of 18 casualties were taken to hospital - two with serious injuries - while another 15 went themselves for treatment.
The whole ordeal has been a horrendous strain on the newly engaged couple. They lost their home and their cars. Since the incident, the pair have been entered into the Liverpool Echo – Win a Wedding Competition.
Kerri; “We have been together for over 2 years. We would be so happy, we got engaged in December but have been unable to save after being in the New Ferry explosion where we lost our home and our cars. Would make us so happy as we need a pick me up and would love to get married as soon as possible”.
How it Works
Tokens will be printed in the ECHO every day from Tuesday, April 25 until Saturday, May 20, 2017.
For every 500 tokens a couple collects they will receive a Golden Envelope which will be placed into a prize draw. There is no limit to the number of envelopes you can have in the draw so collect as many tokens as possible to be in with an even bigger chance of winning.
We hope that everyone can help Kerri & Gary through this difficult time.
